Shea Racing duo Jason Fichter and Shea Holbrook in the Honda Racing/HPD Accord Coupes fought for championship points at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI last weekend. The high speed, 14-turn road racing circuit severed the Shea Racing Honda’s well.

The previous racing weekend at Lime Rock Park, Jason Fichter, driver of the No.7 Revant Optics opted not to compete due to a mechanical gremlin. The team decided Fichter would double up on points during the championship weekend at Laguna Seca in October. Fichter, a full racing weekend behind could be a top-five points spoiler come Laguna Seca. He earned a seventh and tenth place finish at Road America.

Shea Holbrook in the No. 67 BUBBA burger Honda Accord had a solid weekend at Road America securing fifth and sixth place finishes. With the help of her team Holbrook currently sits third in the Touring Car Championship. Holbrook was also awarded the Cadillac Move of the Race during Race 1 for passing two cars on exit of turn five nearly escaping a potential incident.

Shea Racing and partners take to the track for testing during July and will return to Miller Motorsport Campus in Tooele, UT August 11-14 for Rounds 9&10.
