‘“Everything about JT is unprecedented” says Don Kutschall, one of JT’s driving coaches. And, 16-year old JT Coupal, demonstrated that once again, when he made his international racing debut in the CWS #55 550 hp Ginetta G57 Prototype LMP3 at the Creventic 3x3H Dubai at Dubai Autodrome this past January finishing on the podium in all 3 races with CWS Team out of Glastonbury England.
According to Ewan Baldry, Technical Director Ginetta: “I rarely say this but it is clear JT has a serious talent. I have never seen someone of his limited experience do something like that {run sub-2-minute lap times in his first practice run in a G57 prototype}.

In addition to helping the CWS team take the #55 Ginetta to 4 podium finishes in the prototypes at Dubai, JT also teamed up with Berg Racing (Webster, NY) and Zest Racecar Engineering (England) to co-pilot the #105 Seat Leon in the Dubai 24H race that fielded nearly 100 cars. The #105 car finished 3rd in class with JT doing his first stints in the car in the middle of the night.’
