Win a Porsche!
SecurityNational Mortgage, the primary sponsor for Sloan Urry gave away two 2-year Porsche leases last night at the race weekend kick-off party for Sloan at Salt Lake City Porsche. Over the last nine months, 15,000 people entered the SecurityNational Mortgage “Win a Porsche” contest. The two winners, one from Austin, Texas and the other from Sandy, Utah each won a free two-year lease on a Porsche and had the option of a brand new Cayenne or the Boxster!

Utah Rewind:
Sloan finished third in both races at the Utah Motorsports Campus in 2015. Although he started his racing career here in 2010 and finished fourth in his first event, 2015 was his first time competing at the Campus at the professional level.

2016-08-11-urry-3Sloan Urry on his home event: “It’s really exciting to be racing at home in front of my sponsors, friends and family. I love the track, I’ve got a lot of miles around this place, but that being said, this is only my second race here at the professional level. Winning here this weekend would be the ultimate for me. My sponsors do such a great job with activating this program and this weekend is going to be epic with so many guests, so a win is my mission.”

Sloan Urry on the Utah Campus: “The track is a lot of fun to drive. It’s a longer, high-speed course with good momentum, yet it has a nice variety of challenging corners. I’d say my favorite section would be high speed right-hander called “Witchcraft” then the dive into the downhill chicane called “Attitudes.” It’s just one of those tracks where you are on the edge and jumping curbs the whole way around, and I am hoping my local knowledge helps me out.”
