BRM Chronographes, Racing for Cancer, Pirata Della Strada, Simon Ward, MyRacePass and Rebounderz join TRG-AMR for 2016 Pirelli World Challenge campaign

PETALUMA, Calif. – As Derek DeBoer and Jason Alexandridis team up to fight for the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge Team Championship with TRG-AMR, the duo will be powered by a strong line up of key marketing and charity partners for the effort. The opening event of the 2016 World Challenge season is set for this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas.

DeBoer and Alexandridis, who will share the driving duties in the No. 09 TRG-AMR Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 through the 2016 season, are pleased to announce the marketing partnerships that will drive the effort as BRM Chronographes, Racing for Cancer, Pirata Della Strada, Simon Ward, MyRacePass and Rebounderz have all committed to the program.

“It is fantastic to have the #09 Aston Martin GT4 on board with TRG for the entire season,” said TRG-AMR CEO Kevin Buckler of this 2016 full season entry. “Jason (Alexandridis) & Derek (DeBoer) are going to make a formidable team and will be following the new model of a shared car throughout the season. DeBoer will continue his partnership with BRM Chronographes, as well as the development of new watch models with the brand. The French watch maker has already produced two different models with input from DeBoer. BRM Chronographes will once again be a key partner in 2016. Racing for Cancer is another partner of DeBoer’s that will once again be displayed prominently on his car. The Ryan Hunter-Reay founded charity serves to create awareness for early detection of cancer. DeBoer was able to activate a number of fundraising events around his 2015 Pirelli World Challenge campaign and looks forward to announcing his full 2016 plans soon.

Pirata Della Strada (http://www.piratadellastrada.com), which creates unique motorsports inspired apparel and lifestyle wearable accessories for use by passionate fans of motoring, will have an on-site presence to connect with race fans at the Circuit of the Americas at the TRG-AMR transporter. Having designed the Derek DeBoer logo as well as created a range of merchandise for the American racer, Pirata Della Strada merchandise will also be available at the Pirelli World Challenge track retail display and also at www.derekdeboerracing.com.

Adding both an artistic element as well as another channel for charity, the British-born motorsports artist Simon Ward will also be a part of the effort in 2016. Ward has a vast history of painting a number of notable road and race cars for corporate and private clients, as well as having established a reputation as a live event painter.

DeBoer and Ward look forward to collaborating on original paintings of DeBoer’s 2015 and 2016 V8 Vantage for charity events and retail customers. The first piece will be available for purchase at the season’s second stop in St. Petersburg, Florida, with 50% of the proceeds benefitting Racing for Cancer. As an accomplished live event painter, Ward’s ability to translate the energy of the automotive subject matter on to canvas is evident in all of his works.

Alexandridis brings season-long partner Rebounderz to Pirelli World Challenge for his inaugural 2016 season in the series. Rebounderz is one of the fastest growing franchises in the industry. Alexandridis looks forward to exposing the large Pirelli World Challenge fan base to this exciting trampoline arena company in each market that he visits.
