“I’m back” said a joyful Nate Stacy after qualifying 7th for round 13 of the Pirelli World Challenge being held at Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course.
“I felt really good about things that weekend. I had a lot of fun doing the media rides and I played a round of golf with friends on Wednesday. After Road America, the team worked hard to prepare the cars for this race and it showed. We really dialed my car in during the test and practice sessions and I felt I’d be able to move up quickly from the standing start. It was great to be back up on the podium and we’re hoping to carry that momentum to the end of the year,” said an excited Nate Stacy.
The team arrives at Utah Motorsports Campus today to set up and has a full schedule tomorrow. Nate will be doing local morning TV between 6 and 7 am before stepping into his car for a test session at 9:35. He’ll then be doing hot laps in his car with local media, followed by the second test session at 1:05.
Stacy added this as he parted with a smile, “It should be an exciting weekend, it’s a close points race and I really enjoy turning laps here. The fans should be in for treat, I hope they come out to support us”
