K-PAX Racing Program Manager Darren Law breaks down Rounds 7 & 8 of Pirelli World Challenge SprintX competition from Utah Motorsports Campus (UMC).Both McLaren 650S GT3 cars finished inside the top-10 in each round, but it was the No. 9 of Alvaro Parente and Ben Barnicoat in the finale that made the biggest impact in the team’s pursuit toward an overall championship title.

In the closing laps of the final round, the No. 9 K-PAX Racing McLaren 650S GT3 car of Alvaro Parente and Ben Barnicoat made a series of passes through the “Attitude” section of UMC (turns 8-10 of the 15-turn course). The No. 6 K-PAX Racing McLaren 650S GT3 car featured a new two-driver combination in Bryan Sellers and Michael Lewis. Lewis, who competed in SprintX last season in the No. 98 Calvert Dynamics Porsche 911 GT3 R, had previously been competing in K-PAX Racing’s No. 98 McLaren 650S GT3 car in SprintX competition in 2017.
