Milwaukee, WI – JCR Motorsports and their two Maserati GT4s for Jeff Courtney and Fred Roberts are ready and looking forward to Virginia International Raceway, a 3.27 mile, 17-turn road course in Alton, Virginia.
Owner/Driver Jeff Courtney and his #99 X-Analytics/Kenda/RecStuff.com machine had an extremely successful outing at VIR in 2017, claiming pole and finishing second in both races. While the competition level has been raised in 2018, the team expects to be one of the top contenders once again. “We tested at VIR last week and are very happy with the car. We’re starting to hit the tracks that are better suited for the Maserati, but the new GT4s are proving to be very quick, so we know there will be great competition ” said the team owner/driver.
Like Courtney, Fred Roberts and the #89 Enercare/Amana and Wolseley Maserati will run both races solo as Bronze-rated drivers are allowed per the SprintX ruleset.
Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2018 Pirelli World Challenge GTS SprintX season will take place on Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th with the green flag flying for Race 1 at 3:30pm ET.
All races will be streamed live on world-challenge.com.
