Ft. Lauderdale, Miami – With the momentum of a championship lead for Martin Fuentes, and a victory in his last race for Daniel Mancinelli, the TR3 Racing teammates are looking to maintain their success as they head to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.

For Fuentes, who leads the GT-A Sprint championship and sits third in the GT-A Overall championship, his last race weekend in the Sprint-X rounds at VIRginia International Raceway brought a double victory. With the lead to race with in the GT-A Sprint championship, Fuentes is eagerly anticipating the challenge of the 2.45-mile Canadian Tire Motorsports Park circuit in the No. 07 Squadra Corse / Garage Italia Ferrari 488 GT3.

“It’s a very important weekend coming up,” said Fuentes. “And I’m very confident. It’s always good to arrive to a race weekend with the championship lead, and it’s a little bit more relaxing without the stress of battling for the points lead. But with the lead, we have to play a different strategy. I’ve raced at CTMP many times so I’m confident that I know the track very well, so we are on course for a great weekend and a good result for TR3 Racing and Ferrari.”

Daniel Mancinelli returns to the No. 31 TR3 Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 after his victory in the previous Sprint round at Long Beach, where he executed a late-race pass to secure the victory for TR3 Racing. The Ferrari was driven to a podium finish at the Sprint-X rounds at VIR by Jeff Segal and Wei Lu.

“Canadian Tire Motorsports Park is one of the most challenging circuits of the Pirelli World Challenge championship,” said Mancinelli. “It has very fast corners, goes up and down, and is quite tricky. For me, it is very cool! It’s very technical, and so the Ferrari usually performs well there. After the victory at Long Beach, I’m really confident for this weekend and I know the TR3 Racing team will has prepared the Ferrari perfectly.”

The Pirelli World Challenge Sprint GT races from CTMP will be streamed live on Saturday, May 19 at 1:55 PM ET and Sunday, May 20 at 4:05 PM ET. The television broadcast will be shown on CBS Sports Network on Sunday, June 3 at 1:00 PM ET.
