Toronto, Ont. – It is a well-known fact that Samantha Tan has a special place in her heart for children. This week, when she went home to Toronto for the holidays, she made it a point to bring some holiday cheer once again to the children at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Center.

Just over a month ago, ST Racing put the word out to all its friends and supporters at BMW Canada, Maranello BMW, Ferri Automotive and Autostrada Magazine for gift donations. The response was unbelievable! A “mountain of fabulous toys and racing swag” showed up at the HB Kids Rehab Center on the day of Samantha Tan’s visit.

Samantha Tan and some of ST Racing’s entourage were guided through the hospital for a one-hour visit with a chariot full of toys for all the children to enjoy. The looks on the children’s faces were precious.

The Canadian race car driver sat down among her young fans and spent time answering all their questions, while they watched a video of her racing.

When Tan pulled out her driver suit to show the kids what she wears when she is driving her race car, everyone wanted to touch it and see what it felt like. The 21-year old driver took time to explain to the children what the suit was made of, and what all the names on the suit represented.

Spending time with these children was truly a heartwarming moment for Samantha and the whole group that was present. Christmas is all about giving, and none of this could have been possible without the help of precious friends and supporters and ST Racing is grateful to all of them. Also, a special thank you goes out to the staff at the Holland Bloorview Rehabilitation Center for hosting the visit and their constant care and devotion to the children.

From everyone at ST Racing, Happy Holidays! See you next year!
