“If I’m being honest, the fastest I’ve ever driven a car was 100 miles per hour. As a dumb high schooler a few years back, I thought driving on a small highway in southeast Kansas would be the perfect opportunity to see how fast my 2003 Mazda Tribute could go. Nobody else was on the road, I did it only for a few seconds and, thankfully, neither the cops nor my loving parents were around for me to get in trouble.

But sitting in the passenger seat of Nate Stacy’s GTS Ford Roush Mustang at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Wednesday, I quickly learned that my high school shenanigans were mere child’s play.”
