Malta Montana – It was at the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge season’s halfway point that Dennis Ost realised is long time ambition of owning a race team when he fielded a Honda Civic SI for series’ veteran Patrick Seguin as Team Ost Racing. In half of a season, Team Ost Racing enjoyed 8 podiums in 9 race starts in TCA which helped propel Patrick to runner up in the Championship.

For 2016, the team has expanded to a 3 car TCA program. Dennis will continue to count on Patrick’s consistent driving and is proud to have added up-&-coming Samantha Tan to the driver lineup. Samantha is coming off her first Pirelli World Challenge season with a great amount of momentum, the team is especially excited to have the opportunity of working with Samantha in helping her progression into not only a strong podium finisher but also a Championship contender. The other addition to the team is Marc-Andre Seguin who is a very quick driver and excellent coach. Patrick’s brother worked closely with the team in 2015 helping them increase their level of competitiveness. Marc-Andre will be debuting a new car for the team at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park where he will start his development season as a rookie in the Pirelli World Challenge, like his teammates he has valuable experience in the Canadian Touring Car series at his roots.

Team Ost Racing looks to Sean Asselin to head the team as crew chief, he has experience running a multiple car championship winning team and is familiar with the Pirelli World Challenge series.

The entire organisation is looking forward to taking the green flag on March 4th at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. The team wishes to take this opportunity to thank some of their supporters that helped them in the off season; Dow Honda, Perry Auto, Honda Racing Development, Powersports Garage and Auto Electrique Campeau. Team Ost Racing will continue to bring awareness for their young friend Kevin who is living with an extremely rare disease to which we encourage all to visit his site to read his story and also to contribute to his well-being.
