The Pirelli World Challenge community is mourning the loss of Camden John “Buddy” Frisby, who passed away on Nov. 23. “Buddy” was a crew member on the Frisby Performance Tire team which supplies Pirelli tires for the entire PWC paddock. Frisby, son of Eric and Kris Frisby, brother of Lindsay, Megan and Erica Frisby and grandson of Mike Frisby, was a wrestling star and team captain at Lakes Community High School in Lake Villa, Ill. “Buddy” loved spending time with his family and especially traveling to the family’s Wisconsin cabin. He also had a passion designing and building various items as well as making his family and friends laugh. Frisby was in the beginning stages of being groomed for a future key position within the family business. Frisby Performance Tire/Sierra Tire are based in Gurnee, Ill. and Henderson, Nev., and are family-based companies created by two cousins, Mike Frisby and Bob Schaefer, who are regulars on the Pirelli World Challenge tour. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Frisby family at this difficult time.
