Rosamond, CA – RT Motorsports has announced they will join the PWC GTS field, running their Maserati GranTurismo GT4 cars. Team owner Ron Ballard will drive the #93 with the driver of the #15 and #33 TBA. The team will make their debut at the opening rounds at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas March 3-6, 2016.

Primary sponsors on the RT Motorsports #93 are AK&J Sealants, Dow Corning, WR Meadows, and Smalley and Company.
Ron Ballard formed RT Motorsports in 2008, racing primarily in ProAuto Sports and NASA AZ. In 2015, after multiple championships and class wins, Ron decided to make the move to pro racing and selected PWC as the perfect venue to continue his road racing career. “Making the decision to go pro was something I have wanted to do for a long time and utilizing Jackson Stewart and Unitech Racing, Inc. to handle the team management has made this process easy” said Ballard. Ron will be utilizing the services of Craig Stanton as driver coach to insure a smooth transition to PWC. Having run multiple races at COTA, Ron feels ready to take on the field.

Maserati’s involvement in the PWC GTS series is also new for 2016. Motorsports head Roberto Bozzi, along with several technicians will be supporting the teams campaigning the GranTurismo MC GT4 cars. “ We are very excited to debut the car at the opening race of the GTS Series and are looking forward to a long and successful relationship with our Squadra Clienti teams” said Bozzi.
