In partnership with Reiter, 3R Racing will manage the car in the series. Currently the group is looking for an interested funded driver and partners to run the car in the series.

“This is pretty exciting being the team to bring the Reiter Camaro to the US, last year we were the first for McLaren,” said Bob Raub, Owner of 3R Racing. “I started my professional driving career in 1980 in a Camaro. We have been in World Challenge for 14 straight years, now we just need some funding to make this happen.”

Reiter Engineering GmbH & Co Kg is a German racing team founded in 1994. The company is named after engineer and founder Hans Reiter. In 2000, Reiter entered a Lamborghini in the FIA GT Championship with its own Diablo GT built by the team. Reiter became the constructor of the Gallardo GT3 for the FIA GT3 European Championship and later the ADAC GT Masters. Besides running the factory squads in their respective championships, Reiter also builds and sells its cars to other teams for various uses.

3R Racing was founded in 1985 by Robert “Bob” Raub. He started 3R Racing after successfully racing in the SCCA Trans-AM and I.M.S.A. Series during the early 80’s with Oftedahl Racing. During that time Bob was a dominating force in the Trans-Am Series with numerous victories. Bob left the Trans-Am Series and returned to Colorado where he continued to race in SCCA sanctioned races and, again, proved to be very successful.

Today, the business employs 21 employees, performing all aspects of car restoration, ground up re-engineering, performance enhancement and technical support for many street and race car owners. Since its beginning 3R Racing has built some of the fastest, safest and most reliable race cars in the country.
