HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Johan Schwartz announced today that he will race the full 2015 Pirelli World Challenge series schedule in a Chevy Sonic fielded by Johan Schwartz Racing, run by TechSport Racing, and sponsored by ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer. Schwartz’s campaign in the Pirelli World Challenge series will raise awareness about this disease.
When it comes to prostate cancer, the key message is Early Detection + Education = Best Outcome©. It’s a message Johan Schwartz Racing promotes and its partner ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer (www.ZEROcancer.org) supports. ZERO is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to end prostate cancer through its efforts in advancing research, encouraging action, and providing education and support to men and their families. The organization’s mantra is to support, educate, and activate in mobilizing a like-minded, passionate, and multigenerational army of advocates across the country to end prostate cancer.

Schwartz, a veteran racer and a Precision Factory Instructor at the BMW Performance Center, brings more than 20 years of professional racing experience to this season’s Pirelli World Challenge series. Among his many on-track achievements include his Guinness World Record Longest Continuous Drift of 51.278 miles in 2013. Born and reared in Denmark, Schwartz formed Endurance Karting, an arrive and driving karting program, in 2001. He stepped away from the company in 2013 to pursue new motorsports opportunities.
The 2015 Pirelli World Challenge series kicks off with an event Friday, March 6 to Sunday, March 8 at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Other scheduled venues include Canadian Motorsports Park (Bowmanville, Ontario), Road America (Elkhart Lake, Wis.), Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Lexington, Ohio), Miller Motorsports Park (Tooele, Utah), and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (Salinas, Calif.). All races will be live streamed on the Pirelli World Challenge website (www.world-challenge.com) and rebroadcast by CBS Sports.
