GRANTSVILLE, Utah – Pirelli World Challenge newcomer Craig Dolby of Melton Mowbrey, England posted the quick time Sunday morning in GT/GTA/GT Cup warmup at Utah Motorsports Campus in his No. 33 AE/Replay XD/ Nissan GT Academy Nissan GT-R GT3 with a lap reading of one minute, 48.689 seconds.

Dolby, replacing No. 33 regular driver JD Davison this weekend at UMC, finished tenth Saturday in the 50-minute GT Round 16 in his initial PWC showing. Nissan’s Bryan Heitkotter won Saturday’s Gt feature in the No. 05 AE/Replay XD/ Nissan GT Academy Nissan GT-R GT3 team car to Dolby’s.

Second in the GT warmup went to veteran Spencer Pumpelly of Atlanta with a 1:48.690 in the No. 34 RealTime Racing Acura TLX-GT followed by 17-year-old Austin Cindric of Charlotte in the No. 6 K-PAX McLaren 650S at 1:48.924, Colin Thompson Doylestown, Pa., in the No. 13 K-PAX McLaren 650S at 1:49.035 and Road America double winner Ryan Eversley of Atlanta in the No. 43 RealTime Racing Acura TLX-GT at 1:49.202.

In the GTA category, Saturday winner Frankie Montecalvo of Highlands, N.J., topped the charts in his No. 66 DIME Racing Mercedes AMG SLS GT3 with a 1:51.013 Sunday morning, while local racer McKay Snow of Lehi, Utah paced the Porsche GT Cup drivers in his No. 56 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 Cup machine at 1:53.817.

The GT/GTA/GT Cup Round 17 is set to get underway Sunday at 1:30 pm MDT.
