ELKHART LAKE, Wis. — Nick Mancuso, of Libertyville, IL , is making a return to Pirelli World Challenge this weekend at his home track Road America. Mancuso will drive the No. 46 Maserati GranTurismo MC in GTS in the DeVilbiss Grand Prix at Road America presented by Cadillac.

In 2015, Mancuso made 10 starts in GT in the R. Ferri Motorsport Ferrari 458 GT3 Italia, finishing 12th overall in the Drivers’ Championship. He started on pole for the 2014 Round 3 race at Barber Motorsports Park, ultimately finishing 3rd on the day, his best finish of the season.

On his return to PWC and running at Road America — “It’s awesome. It’s like seeing an old friend. I was just walking through the paddock and literally in the past 50 feet seeing 10 people I know so it’s great to catch up with everyone.”

“It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a proper race car, about a year. Since pretty much Toronto last year, I’ve been hanging out and playing an aspiring race car driver, and now I get back to being an actual race car driver.”

“It’s funny because drivers are always complaining about not getting enough track time during a weekend, but I am actually running in two different series both in Pirelli World Challenge GTS, and the Maserati Trofeo Series. I am going to be a busy busy boy. I am excited.”

“It will be exciting to see the Maserati mix it up with all of the strong cars in GTS, Porsche Cayman, Kia Optima, etc. I have no idea where we will stack up. Once I knock the rust off, I hope to be pretty competitive.”
