Hard work and dedication to his craft has rewarded 15 year old Nate Stacy with a unique opportunity. Nate will be finishing the season in the GTS class behind the wheel of a Boss 302S Mustang maintained by Rehagen Racing.

Nate started his Pirelli World Challenge career in 2014 in a Ford Fiesta. In his rookie year he was the youngest pole sitter and race winner in series history. He took to the podium eight times including a win at CTMP, Cadillac Move of the Race at NJMP, Optima Hard Charger Award at Mid-Ohio, and the Invisible Glass Clean Pass Award at Miller.

“Coming into the Pirelli World Challenge in 2014 was eye-opening. The TCB class is the start of the “ladder” but the competition was always close. The skill level of my peers made me work hard for my accomplishments. Before the season was done we already knew that we would be back in 2015 with more car. The deal we made for the C30R Volvo’s from 3R / K-PAX Racing was the best out there, we knew that as soon as we tested them. The competition in the 2015 Touring Car Class has been incredible. Last month’s race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (CTMP) was daunting. We took some damage that effected the performance of the car and we finished off the podium, but we know the car can get us there.” – Nate Stacy

Just last week an agreement was reached with Rehagen Racing that will enable Nate to move into a Mustang and finish his season in the GTS class alongside Dan Martinson and Dean Martin. Nate did well at Barber with no testing and only minimal practice time in the Mustang, finishing in the middle of the field in both races.

“We had a taste of GTS earlier in the year at Barber Motorsports Park, and have been discussing possibilities since then to get back into a Mustang” said Team Owner Mike Stacy.
“We started the season chasing the TC Championship with 3R Racing and a Championship winning Volvo C30. 3R had developed that car into a proven winner, and we felt that the best was yet to come after our strong showing at CTMP. This opportunity to move up into GTS was just too good to pass up, and we know that Rehagen Racing is the right team to help Nate continue to move forward.”

“We are excited to have Nate join Rehagen Racing for the remainder of the season. He has shown a natural driving ability and is very receptive to coaching and instruction. He did well in his first outing with us at Barber and we’re looking forward to working with him as he moves forward in his career. “ – Dean Martin

The Volvo C30R’s are ready to race and will be made available for “Arrive and Drive” customers or can be purchased along with ample spare parts. For more information on this, contact Mike Stacy at: (918) 625-6584 or mstacy@stacy-group.com
