Owasso, OK – At the end of his first season of pro racing in the Pirelli World Challenge, 14-year-old Nate Stacy finished second in TCB driver’s points.

New Year, new season, fresh start. The 2015 Pirelli World Challenge season actually started a few days after the last race in September, for Nate Stacy Racing. “We decided pretty quickly that we wanted to come back, and that we wanted to move up a class” said team owner and father Mike Stacy. “The question was, into a TCA car, where some of Nate’s peers were planning to go, or in to a full Touring Car. We were offered several opportunities from teams with manufacturer’s support, but felt that the fit wasn’t right, so we started shopping.”

Looking for a proven platform that was safe, strong, fast and ready to race narrowed the search down very quickly. In November, after a few weeks of talks and negotiating through 3R Racing, Nate Stacy Racing purchased the K-PAX Racing Volvo C30R’s.

“Dad and I drove out to the 3R shop in Colorado to check out the cars and test them at the local track. After only a few laps, we were sold! I can’t wait for the season to start” said a very excited Nate Stacy.

Along with the cars, the team also arranged for 3R to provide tech support for the coming season. Aaron Coalwell who engineered the car for Robert Thorne during it’s USTCC Championship season, will be platooning with Dax Raub.

“We are very excited to be working with Nate and the team for 2015. Those cars are very special and it was a shame to have them in storage, seeing it turn laps at High Plains Raceway was a treat and with Aaron and Dax providing tech support, I think that they have a chance at seeing the podium” said Bob Raub

The season opens on March 5th at the Circuit of the Americas (CoTA) in Austin TX, the first of six schedule dates in 2015. For race info and schedules go to www.world-challenge.com
