St. Petersburg, FL – Frank Montecalvo, of Highlands, NJ , and Colin Thompson, of Doylestown, PA recorded fastest laps in a shortened GT/GTA and GT Cup presented by MOMO class practice on the Streets of St. Petersburg, as part of the Cadillac Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

The 30-minute practice at the 14-turn, 1.8-mile temporary street course was cut short when the No. 13 of Lorenzo Trefethen, of Napa, CA in the ANSA Motorsports Trefethen Family Vineyards Porsche 911 GT3 Cup made contact with the concrete barrier at turn 3. The cleanup took approximately 20 minutes of the session.

Montecalvo, in the No. 66 DragonSpeed Bayshore Racing Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS GT3 , recorded the fastest lap with a 1:13.877. Second was Ryan Eversley, of Atlanta, GA, in the No. 43 RealTime/Acura Motorsports/HPD Acura TLX-GT with a 1:13.951.

Rounding out the top 5 in GT/GTA were Kevin Estre, of Lochau, Austria , in the No. 9 K-PAX Racing McLaren 650S GT3 , with a 1:14.324, Martin Fuentes, of Mexico City, Mexico in the No. 07 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 GT3 Italia with a 1:14.587 and Nick Catsburg, of Voorthuizen, Netherlands in the No. 25 Blancpain Racing Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 with a 1:14.657.

Thompson in the No. 11 Porsche of Bucks County/Penn Valley Constructors/Sherwin Williams Automotive Finishes/Austin Hatcher Foundation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup recorded a 1:16.658 to top the charts in GT Cup. Alec Udell, of The Woodlands, TX was second fastest in the No. 17 GMG Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with a 1:17.321 while Phil Fogg, of Portland, OR, in the No. 18 Zoro/TruspeedPorsche 911 GT3 Cup was third fastest in class with a 1:17.694.
