Jason Cherry, Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car driver, has arranged for Texas State Representative Ron Simmons to attend the Pirelli World Challenge races Saturday, March 7th, at the Circuit of The Americas in support of Jason and the Autism Society of America (ASA) group. Cherry will be hosting the ASA’s largest affiliate which is located in Austin, Texas. The group will be celebrating the ASA’s 50th anniversary as well as the affiliate’s 25th anniversary.

Jason has worked with the Pirelli World Challenge Series and Rick Kulach of Nissan Motorsports to confirm Rep. Simmons as the Honorary Starter for the races that day.

According to State Representative Ron Simmons, “I am honored to be named the Honorary Starter of the Pirelli World Challenge Race in an effort to help raise Autism awareness and to highlight the services provided by many non profit organizations such as the Autism Society of America.  I hope that everyone will come out to COTA in Austin to support Autism awareness through this world-class event.”

Jason is driving in the number 13 Nissan Altima for CA-Sport this 2015 season. Rep. Simmons can be found at the CA-Sport paddock space throughout the races on Saturday, March 7th.
