LAKEVILLE, Conn. – Mike Skeen and co-driver Scott Heckert, driving the No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, were awarded pole position for the GT SprintX Rd.5 competition for the Pro-Pro class following exclusion of the previous pole winner for a post-race technical infraction assessment. Parker Chase and Ryan Dalziel, driving the No. 19 TruSpeed AutoSport Audi R8 LMS were awarded pole position for the Pro-Am class also following exclusion of the previous pole winner for a post-race technical infraction assessment.

Alvaro Parente of Portugal had recorded the quickest qualifying lap in GT at Lime Rock Saturday, but his No. 9 K-PAX Racing Bentley Continental GT3 failed tech inspection after the qualifying session. In the Pro-Am division, Rodrigo Baptista of Brazil clocked the quickest time, but his No. 3 K-PAX Racing Bentley Continental GT3 also failed the post-qualifying inspection.

Second on the GT SprintX grid will be another Mercedes-AMG GT3 with CTMP Sprint race winner Daniel Morad of Canada and Rafaele Marcielllo of Switzerland in the No. 2 CRP Racing/DeVilbiss Mercedes-AMG with a time of 51.913 (102.21 m.p.h.). On the second row for Monday was the Ferrari pair of Toni Vilander of Finland and Miguel Molina of Spain in the No. 61 R. Ferri Motorsport Ferrari 488 GT3 with a 52.035 lap (101.97 m.p.h.). Rounding out the top-four was the No. 24 Alegra Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 team of Spencer Pumpelly of Atlanta, Ga., last year’s GT SprintX winner at Lime Rock Park, and Denmark’s Michael Christensen with a time of 52.111 (101.82 m.p.h.).

Chase and Dalziel in the No. 19 TruSpeed Motosports Audi R8 LMS GT3 took the Pro-Am pro with a time of 52.765 (100.56 m.p.h.).

Race 1 for GT SprintX is set for 11:05 a.m. EDT with Race 2 at 4:05 p.m. EDT.
