Black Armor Helmets is pleased to announce that WC Vision has chosen their new Circuit Pro and Rally carbon fiber helmets for use by officials in the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge Championship Series.

This season, members of the Safety and Pace Car team will be outfitted with new Black Armor Rally Carbon helmets featuring integrated radio communications. For the OEM Hotlaps program, participants will be donning Black Armor Circuit Pro carbon fiber helmets with the new SA2015 certification. Several competitors in the series also wear Black Armor Helmets, including Randy Hale (TC), Austin Snader (TC), Steve Taake (TCB), Tom O’Gorman (TCB), Van Svenson (TCB), and James Wilson (TCB).

“We are excited to partner with Black Armor as the official helmet of the series’ safety and pace car team,” said Jeff Lepper, Pirelli World Challenge Marketing Manager and Series TV Commentator. “It’s obviously extremely important for our series officials to have equipment that is both highly protective and very comfortable to allow them to effectively oversee the well-being of the teams and drivers in PWC – and the new Black Armor Rally Carbon is the perfect choice for that.”

“Safety, driver comfort, and durability have finally become affordable in carbon fiber helmets”, explains CEO, James Wilson, driver of the #55 TCB Mazda for 2016. “Pirelli World Challenge has always been exciting to watch as a fan and it’s attainable as a driver. We know our company values align with this series and we are proud to not only support it in partnership, but participate as well.”
