BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Lawson Aschenbach posted the fastest time in Friday’s second 30-minute GTS practice session at Barber Motorsports Park, at the Grand Prix of Birmingham presented by Porsche, part of the 7th annual Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama.

Under rainy and 75 degree weather conditions, Aschenbach, driving the No. 10 Blackdog Speed Shop Chevrolet Camaro Z28 posted a 1:32.550 ahead of Scott Dollahite, in the No. 46 SDR Motorsports Lotus Evora who posted a 1:32.754. Jack Roush Jr. driving the No. 60 Roush Performance Ford Mustang Boss 302 posted the third fastest time with a 1:33.476.

Ernie Francis Jr. and Anthony Mantella rounded out the top 5: Francis Jr. driving the No. 98 Breathless Racing/Beta Tools/Liquid Performance Ford Mustang Boss 302 posted a 1:33.766, while Mantella, piloting the No. 8 Gulf Mantella Autosport Inc. KTM X-Bow posted a 1:34.770.
