The Woodlands, TX – Two weeks after the close of the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge season, Alec Udell was turning laps in a Porsche 991 at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. Weeks later with the announcement of a GT Cup series in PWC he knew what his 2015 ride was going to be.

With financial support from Amsource Capital and Panther Pipelines, a new Porsche 991 was ordered from Germany.

His next decision was much more difficult, finding the right team to to support his race effort. For that, Alec consulted with long time coach and Motorsports Development Group owner Stuart Robinson. After weeks of talks with several owners, it came down to one that stood out above the rest, GMG Racing

“I’m excited to be running in a Porsche in the GT Cup category in the Pirelli World Challenge this year. Partnering with GMG and working with James and Neville, I feel we can field a championship contending car and cannot wait to get racing” said Alec Udell.

At present Alec is in discussions finalizing a season sponsor and looks forward to announcing this and a new livery shortly.
